Letter to the Three Wise Men

Yolanda Medina Carrasco / Venezuela RED Informativa.us
I call upon the Three Wise Men from the East! The Wise Men who came to the Virgin, to Saint Joseph and to the Child in the Blessed Manger of Bethlehem on a day like today, two thousand and some years ago. I am referring to Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar.
I ask those Three Magical Wise Men who more than once left me under my bed a doll with a pretty face and a little red dress. Or those little headbands that I liked so much that were made of bone, black and that came from Spain. I am writing to those three good wanderers.
I know that things in Venezuela have been terrible. That there have been no ways or means for the children of the country to receive the toys that Baby Jesus once brought them on December 25th that their parents are poor, very poor. That almost none of them could fulfill what the few kids left in the country wrote in their letters without a recipient’s address, but with very clear and well-written return addresses.
I am clear about all of that. And that is why I am writing to you through my digital platform www.venezuelaredinformativa.us. I know that you read it. I have been told that not a day goes by without you getting on the Internet and snooping around what is happening in Venezuela through our articles and our news reports. That you are paying attention. I take advantage of that. And I do it precisely on the day that the three of you go out with your camels to travel around the world. The day that you go to every corner of the planet to tell the good news about the birth of the Redeemer. To whom they bring offerings, universal symbols, that explain the Greatness of the Son of God: The Living God! Jesus of Bethlehem!
I ask you not to bring anything, nothing at all, to anyone in Venezuela. Do not leave any child, woman, man or old person in Venezuela with any gift. This year I offer you a change.
I think that as a single collective wish the country, the great nation that is inside and the one that is outside, can be satisfied and remain eternally grateful to you three. Because all of us, all of us, only want one thing for Venezuela.
Take away in the saddlebags of your camels all those bugs of the 21st century that have done so much harm to the country and to Venezuelans!
Take Maduro, Diosdado, Padrino, Cilia, Delcy, Jorge and so many others who should not be in Venezuela. Get them out of there. Put them in sacks and pick up the garbage of the 21st century that has done so much harm to us and continues to do to all Venezuelans with good intentions.
The best gift, the best Christmas bonus that the people of Venezuela can receive from you, the Three Wise Men, is that you take all those scoundrels away. Take them out of the country and leave them in the first garbage dump you come across.
Preferably one that is not marked as recyclable garbage, much less as returnable. So that none of them will decide to return. I pray with the same faith that I had when I was a child that you honor this bonus for me. Heaven and all of Venezuela will thank you for all of its history. Amen.
