It took an elderly Venezuelan woman more than a year to find a lead regarding her missing son, after the regime in Venezuela—at the hands of hooded operatives—abducted him for participating in a protest. Regrettably, there are many more who have been abducted, and many mothers, much like Mrs. Carmen Varela, wander facing an uncertain fate as they search for their missing children.
Víctor Hugo Quero was detained under the most heinous charges—fabrications that only a dictatorship could invent in an attempt to perpetuate its hold on power. The regime ended the life of yet another Venezuelan through torture; they even utilized the diabolical Carlos Arvelo Military Hospital.
And, more than a year later, the institutions that are supposed to provide protection served only to report the death of VÍCTOR HUGO QUERO.
That is why the people of Venezuela, Mr. President Trump, have nothing to celebrate; for this occurs daily in our country.
It remains to be seen—and asked—on which side of reality any of the presidents who preceded you in the White House would have stood.
What would Abraham Lincoln say, for instance? Or George W. Bush? Or Ronald Reagan himself?
How would any of them react to a regime of NARCO-TRAFFICKERS—individuals capable of torturing and murdering their own people in a bid to remain in power forever?
This is a matter involving a «murderous state»—one that persecutes, kills, plunders, and tortures an entire population—perpetrated by the very same individuals whom you allowed to remain in power after January 3rd in order to ensure the «stabilization» of my country! President Donald Trump, the time has come for a Transitional Government—an Emergency Government—in Venezuela.
