A plan to charge the victory of last July 28th
While the Carter Center says that the 2024 presidential elections in Venezuela «cannot be considered democratic.» However, no country in the world is doing much more INCLUDING The United States.
Apart from a couple dozen very bland declarations, only a small group of countries are content to recognize that González Urrutia is the president effectively elected on July 28.
The thing is that, technically, that is very little to restore the rule of law in our country. And so we all continue to get entangled with what Edmundo does and does not do. Forgetting that Edmundo is only a symbol, a passing circumstance. Because it could have been Chucho, Jacinto or José himself, who concentrated in votes the enormous national anger against Maduro and everything that he and his thugs represent for Venezuela.
I insist, Edmundo is the machine that produces money and influence for the parasites of the usual politics in Venezuela. The only difference that Edmundo has with Juan Guaidó is that we take him, Edmundo, as a reference, with name and surname through elections, to make it clear that our country does not want Nicolás Maduro or his thugs for one more day.
Therefore, if the country did not vote for Edmundo, but voted against Maduro, what must be enforced is the collective decision, electorally clear and certified, that the cockroaches of the 21st century have to leave power.
I believe that the Resistance inside and outside Venezuela, that is to say the workers, the people from the neighborhoods, the university students, the transporters, the police, the FAN officials, we have to do a collective exercise to refocus the problem and design a plan to charge the victory of last July 28.
