¿Tienes familiares, amigos o personas de confianza en Venezuela y quieres viajar al país como turista? Cuando corresponda, una carta de invitación notariada puede utilizarse para respaldar la información sobre tu alojamiento y el propósito de tu visita. Pero no se trata simplemente de una carta informal: debe identificar correctamente al invitante y al invitado, indicar el motivo del viaje, el período previsto de permanencia y el lugar donde te hospedarás. “Los pensamientos son frustrados donde no hay consejo; mas en la multitud de consejeros se afirman.” — Proverbios 15:22.
Antes de presentar tu solicitud, verifica que la categoría de visa corresponda realmente al propósito de tu viaje y que la carta sea coherente con los demás documentos del expediente. Una carta de invitación no sustituye los demás requisitos ni garantiza la aprobación de la visa, pero puede formar parte de la documentación exigida cuando el solicitante se alojará en una residencia particular.

When applicable, a notarized invitation letter can be used to support information about your accommodation and the purpose of your visit. However, this is not simply an informal letter: it should properly identify both the inviter and the invited person, state the purpose of the trip, the expected length of stay, and the place where the visitor will be staying. “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.” — Proverbs 15:22.
Before submitting your application, make sure that the visa category corresponds to the actual purpose of your trip and that the invitation letter is consistent with the other documents in your application. An invitation letter does not replace the other requirements or guarantee visa approval, but it may form part of the required documentation when the applicant will be staying at a private residence.
