A prayer for times of distress
Heavenly Father, I acknowledge my shortcomings and cry out to You with a repentant heart; be my refuge and strength, for Your Word says, «God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.» Cover me with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, send Your angels to guard me in all my ways, and rescue my life from this tragedy according to Psalm 91. Thank You, Lord, for hearing my cry and granting me another chance to live. Thank You also to everyone who prayed, helped, and reached out with compassion.
